Closest to the bustling crowd of the Mumbai city there are three tiny beaches namely Marve, Manori & Gorai. These are located in the north of the Mumbai city in Mumbai suburban district. Because of the hill range around the beaches the sunrise & sunset is superior here.
Marve is the fishing village closest to the city & quiet peaceful. This beach is little popular than the Manori & Gorai beaches. This beach is clean & beautiful. Low hills around the beach and sky scraper coconut these make pleasant look to the beach. Around the beach there are some beautiful bungalows & rest houses. We can reach to Marve by ferry also. This beach is not safe for swimming due to the present of sinking sand & swift currents. Due to the presence of the Indian Navel base INS Hamla moments on the Marve beach is restricted.
Gorai & Manori beaches are little crouded than the Marve beach. These beaches are famous for the beach parties & moon light picnic parties. From Marve we may reach to Gorai & Manori just by fifteen minutes ride of the ferry. Sparkling water of the Gorai beach is safe throughout year.
Now days An Essel World (An entertainment park) has been raised up.
