Shirdi: Home town of Shree Saint Sai Baba

Shirdi is situated in Ahamadnagar district 185 km in north side from the Ahamadnagar. In earlier 19th centaury this is the home town of the Shree Saint Sai Baba. Sai baba had taught the massage of brotherhood to the world. Also he has forbearance towards all religions

In 1922 AD the temple of Sai Baba was established to carry out the service of Sai Baba. In the year 1838 AD Sai Baba has arrived in Shirdi at the age of 16 years & he lived their till the death up to the year 1818 AD. The detail like birth date, birth place & the real name of the Sai Baba is unknown to world.

“Shraddha Aur Saburi” is the philosophy of the Sai Baba which means that faith & compassion.

By Air: Nearest airport is Aurangabad. Also shirdi airport being constructed.

By Train: Shirdi itself is the nearest Railway Station.

By Road: There are regular buses of state government from Mumbai(296 km), Pune (183 km), Nashik (112 km), Aurangabad (126 km), Ahmednagar (85 km) & Kopargaon (15 km)
